Smart Ride | Cynthia & Courtney

Cynthia and Courtney are tangible evidence of the friendly community everyone talks about on campus. They met for the first time during this video shoot, but they could've fooled anyone by saying they'd been friends for years.

Courtney found her way to WMU based on the proximity to home (not too close, not too far) while Cynthia was prepared for years-she always felt like a Bronco.

Along those lines, Courtney always felt like a nurse. She even earned her nursing-assistant license in high school and is now pursuing nursing at Western. Cynthia is in the aeronautical-engineering program, looking forward to graduating and showing other girls from Detroit what they can do.

So, did these two become fast friends? The only wedge between them came up when they debated which program was best-nursing or engineering. The passion they each have for their programs proves they're both in the right spot.
