Smart Ride | Julia

Julia made a last-minute decision to attend WMU. That may sound like an exaggeration, but here are the facts: on the first day of classes, she wasn’t yet registered for any, nor did she have a place to live. Even during a time of non-stop scrambling, she says the people at Western were very helpful and pointed her in the right directions.

Why Western? She wants to study exercise science and dance, and as a Bronco, she can do both evenly.

“I can’t wait to keep dancing and performing,” Julia says, “and getting to do hands-on things through the exercise-science program.”

Her enthusiasm and talent will take her a long way. Through Hip Hop Connections, she’s already met a lot of people who can help her career, but she’s not stopping there. After graduation, Julia plans to move to a big city and audition.
