Smart Ride | Kaisa

Being from nearby Mattawan, Kaisa was already familiar with Western. But she was amazed by how much there was to learn. “Going on a couple campus tours showed me a lot more that I didn’t know about Western,” she says.

Kaisa is part of the pre-nursing section of the professional program and will start with the basic sciences. At the end of the year, she’ll apply for the professional program and be on her way to a successful nursing career.

“I’m really passionate about helping people and being there and caring for others,” she says.

Outside of class, you can find Kaisa at the Bronco football or hockey games. “I’m going to be a Lawson Lunatic,” she says. Everyone loves a Lawson Lunatic. Well... except the opponents.
