“I like things that change,” says Sam. “I don’t like to get stuck in a rut.”
Sam’s desire for something new and always evolving drew him to Western Michigan University. He cites the diversity on campus, the genuine community among students and the many, many extra-curricular options as proof he will never fall into a rut here. There’s always something new and different to try.
Sam will double major in two sciences. Although he hasn't yet narrowed them down officially, he’s leaning toward biomedical sciences and chemistry, following the pre-med curriculum to prepare him for medical school in the future. Sam is confident with the courses he’ll take and all the pre-professional groups and clubs on campus, his application to med school will stand out.
