Graduate Connections is a new School of Social Work graduate organization. Several graduates of the program have been meeting to discuss ways to meet the needs of graduates of the School of Social Work. The group focused on being able to connect on a regular basis with other graduates for social purposes, networking purposes, educational purposes and to foster a continuing sense of connection to the School of Social Work.
One of the first things the group requested was a newsletter. Graduates requested a forum in which to learn about what's happening at the School of Social Work, what's happening with their colleagues and what's happening in social work education and theory. As such, links are below for the issues of our newsletter, which is also called "Graduate Connections."
- Volume 2, issue 1, spring 2010
- Volume 1, issue 3: spring 2009
- Volume 1, issue 2: fall 2008
- Volume 1, issue 1: summer 2008
Please feel free to contribute what you would like to see highlighted in the newsletter and on our Web page and take time to visit our alumni update page to update us on where you are and what you are doing as a School of Social Work graduate.
