Book Clubs

Highly qualified book club facilitators will engage students in reading and writing mysteries. A variety of strategies will be modeled and applied in book club sessions. Students will discuss books in ways that will engage them in learning that supports their confidence and interest in reading and writing.

Selected Titles:

1st/2nd grade: Cam Jansen and the Green School Mystery by David Adler
3rd/4th grade: A to Z Mysteries--The Absent Author by Ron Roy
5th/6th grade: Encyclopedia Brown Cracks the Case by Donald Sobol
