Undergraduate Admission

Application to Western Michigan University's undergraduate speech pathology and audiology program is competitive. To be considered for admission to the major, a student must:

  • Schedule an appointment and be advised by the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology undergraduate advisor.
  • Complete at least 40 semester hours of general university coursework, as specified by the program, earning a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Complete and submit an application for admission to the undergraduate major by Feb. 1 for fall enrollment.
