America Reads

At more than 1100 colleges and universities, students earn financial aid by tutoring children and families in reading. WMU supports and participates in The America Reads Challenge by placing work-study eligible student tutors in community schools where they help elementary school children improve their reading skills.

Community service work-study positions

Community Service Work Study positions allow you to earn your federal work-study award at local non-profit agencies. This offers unique opportunities for students interested in careers in human services to gain insight and field-related skills and experience, and to begin building a professional network. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that would like to get connected with the local community.

* Community Service Work Study Employment positions are posted daily on BroncoJOBS.
