Moh’d Khair Albattikhi is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Western Michigan University's Starting Gate student business accelerator. His duties include assisting students in starting their businesses, including finding ways to validate their business models; defining and achieving meaningful milestones; facilitating educational workshops; and providing opportunities to build relationships between students, mentors, investors and other community members.
Albattikhi is pursuing an MBA at WMU with a focus on entrepreneurship. He has been actively involved in entrepreneurship activities at WMU and in the Kalamazoo startup community. Prior to starting his MBA, he founded and ran three businesses in Jordan, including a jewelry distribution company and an online company that provided custom printing on apparel, office supplies and promotional materials. He has also provided consulting services to small companies in Jordan to increase their market share.
