WMU Study Abroad Fair

Save the date for the 2018 WMU Study Abroad Fair: Wednesday, September 26, 11 to 3 p.m., Sangren Hall!

Student holds sign that reads "Where are you going? The Study Abroad Fair!"

What is the Study Abroad Fair?

Listen to WMU study abroad alumni talk about what they loved most about being abroad.

The WMU Study Abroad Fair is an annual event hosted by WMU Study Abroad in collaboration with academic colleges, study abroad faculty-directors, study abroad alumni and student support services across campus.

WMU Study Abroad Fair attendees get the chance to speak with WMU students who have studied and interned abroad, as well as with WMU professors who coordinate programs and courses around the globe. Study abroad specialists from the University are available to answer questions, as are representatives from non-WMU organizations providing more than 100 study and work programs conducted worldwide.

Prospective study abroad students can learn about completing internships with overseas companies and numerous academic and language-intensive programs. Options include studying book arts in Northern Europe, international development in Peru and occupational therapy in Ireland, as well as language programs in Chinese, French, German, Russian, Spanish and Japanese. Many programs are taught in English.

The Study Abroad Fair offers free pizza and give-aways to students, faculty and staff, and the community at large.

We hope to see you there!
