Negocia is located on the northwest side of Paris in the 17th Arrondissement. It was established in 1992 as an international academic institution dedicated to marketing, sales, international trade and business negotiation. The school has more than 1,300 French and international undergraduate and graduate students enrolled. The Paris subway system, the Metro, makes travelling in the city easy. Of course, Paris is a dynamic, multi-faceted city where students can truly experience the world in terms of culture, history, society, architecture, art and cuisine.
Fall and spring: Fall semester begins late September and runs to mid-December. Spring semester starts at the end of January and runs until the end of May.
Like any international city, finding housing in Paris can be challenging. That means that students should start as early as possible to find accomodations.
Negocia offers courses that are the equivalent to the following WMU courses: LAW 4840—International Law; MGMT 4100—Multinational Management; MKTG 4750—International Marketing; MKTG 4780—Special Topics in Marketing; and FIN 4420—International Finance. Three levels of French language instruction are offered, and students are required to study French while at Negocia. In addition, Negocia also offers a number of one- and two-credit courses and seminars that can transfer back to WMU as MGMT 3330—Topics in Supply Management.
