Seasonally, the Office for Sustainability looks for volunteers to help with Fall Welcome events, gardening and many other tasks. Volunteering provides a fun and effective opportunity to make connections and contribute to the ongoing sustainability efforts of Western Michigan University. Volunteer opportunities are scheduled when program needs match the number of volunteers available for a project. Volunteer shifts will run anywhere from one to four hours depending on the task and number of participants. 

Whether you are interested in permaculture, gardening and composting, or just being involved in a community of people working to make the greater WMU area a wonderful place to live, check out our volunteer opportunities at the Gibbs House. We look forward to working with you!
