Scholarships and Grant Opportunities

  • The Student Sustainability Grant Program
The Student Sustainability Grant (SSG) is available to all students from all majors who pay the Sustainability Fee. Grant proposals are reviewed by the Student Sustainability Grant Allocations Committee (SSG-AC), which is composed entirely of undergraduate and graduate students. All proposals are eligible as long as they promote a campus culture of sustainability and benefit all students. Proposals must be safe, legal, adequately budgeted, and possible within existing University infrastructure to qualify.

In 2011-2012 $75,000 will be available. Applications must be submitted in PDF format to wmu-sustainability@wmich.edu. I you have questions about the SSG or would like assistance with application preparation, please call Matt Hollander at (269) 387-0941 or email the address listed above.
