How much does it cost?

The charge for out-of-warranty work is $50 per hour, with a $25 minimum charge (we bill in half hour increments). If you're unsure about the nature of your problem bring your machine into TotalTECH and we can give you an estimate of what it will cost to be fixed.

Warranty work

* Depending on your warranty additional labor charges may apply. See store for details or visit our warranty page for additional information. Generally, most software issues (Operating System problems, Virus/Malware removal) are not covered under warranty.

Non-warranty work

(minimum charge of $25)

In-shop repair	$50/hour
Priority repair, in-shop	$100 priority fee + $50/hour
Data recovery (not every harddrive is a candidate for data recovery)	Quoted on a case by case base with a $25 minimum charge
OS reinstall Includes a reinstallation of your drivers, service patches, updates and your choice of three software program.	$85 flat fee
Hard drive replacement Also includes an OS Reinstall	$95 + the cost of the harddrive
Memory installation	$25 + the cost of the memory
Computrace installation	$19.95
Software installation	$25 for one program $40 for two programs $50 for three programs
Data backup	$30 for up to 40 GB $50 for 40 GB or more Additional $10 fee if you need DVDs made.
TotalTECH reserves the right to refuse service of any computer. With software installation customers must have the original cd that has been liscensed to them.
