Western Michigan University is a member of the 10-institution collaborative educational partnership housed at the Northwestern Michigan College University Center. WMU-Traverse City location opened in 1996 and is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals.

Our flagship program is the master’s degree in counseling with options in community counseling and school counseling, and several graduate certificate programs are available. With evening and weekend classes, our available course schedule is manageable for working adults.
