Where are you located?

We are located on the 2nd floor of the NMC University Center, 2200 Dendrinos Drive, Suite 200-H

What are your hours?

We are generally open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or by appointment in the evening.

I am interested in one of your programs. Can I speak to an advisor?

These meetings are available by appointment and can be scheduled by calling our office for available dates and times. In cases where in-person meetings cannot be arranged, a telephone conference is usually a possibility.

When is the computer lab available?

The computer lab in the University Center is open for use from:

Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What is the procedure for closing WMU-Traverse City due to inclement weather?
If I can't make it to class, how do I let my instructor know?

Your instructor will usually provide you with a means of contacting him or her, either by telephone or voicemail. If you do not have access to that information or cannot reach him or her, you may leave a message for the instructor in our office, and we will deliver that message at the earliest opportunity.

Where do I buy my books?

Books can be purchased through MBS Direct. Students can go to www.mbsDirect.net and follow the links to order books.

What partnerships does WMU-Traverse City have?

WMU-Traverse City is in partnership with the Northwestern Michigan College University Center. Aiming to serve the needs of area residents, NMC houses the University Center where students may choose from 10 Universities to further their education.
