The University Bands are proud to welcome Dr. Andrew Rathbun as the Professor of Saxophone in the School of Music following the retirement in May of Trent Kynaston. Dr. Rathbun comes to Western having established a career of teaching and performing in New York and brings with him a strong background in both classical and jazz performance, composition and arranging. We look forward to having him along with his wife Helen and children arrive in Kalamazoo over the summer and wish Professor Kynaston great happiness and many great golf shots during his retirement!
