Library Resources for Students
Library Resources are also available from the WMU website or through the GO WMU Portal.
Libraries Home Page - Access the catalog, online library resources, helpful guides and information.
Ask a Librarian - Library help desks, phone numbers and e-mail reference service.
Searchpath - A good introduction to library resources, this online tutorial has six modules with a quiz at the end.
Subject Guides - Lists of online and print resources for subject disciplines.
Course Reserves - Select your instructor and then your course. Enter the password given to you by your instructor to get to the material. Articles and other short texts will be available full text electronically. Books and videos will be at the library Reserve Desks. The main one is in Waldo Library.
Interlibrary Loan - If our libraries don't have something, we can usually get it for you through Interlibrary Loan. Just register and request the item.
Style Guides - Guides to the writing styles most often used at WMU plus additional information.
