The WALKER INSTITUTE For the study of RACE and ETHNIC relations(WIRE) Sports-Based Youth Development Program

Program Purpose - WIRE Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD) program will serve as a positive connection to life-skills promotion for youth in the Kalamazoo community. The SBYD program promotes the development of pro-social behaviors, academic success, sport-skills acquisition and leadership development.

Who: Kalamazoo Youth ages 7-12

When: Saturdays January 18th to April 12th

Time: 8:30am to 12:00pm

Where: Western Michigan University Student Recreation Center (SRC)

Directions to SRC: from Stadium Drive, take Oliver Street west. Turn right on Western Ave then right into parking lot 13.
