KALAMAZOO -- "The Current Condition of Political Correctness" will be the subject of a lecture at Western Michigan University Thursday, Feb. 19.
Dr. Jan Narveson, professor of philosophy at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Room 3512 of Knauss Hall. The free public lecture is sponsored by WMU's Center for the Study of Ethics in Society.
Narveson is the author of several books, including "Moral Matters" published in 1993 and "Political Correctness" published in 1995. He also has written more than 200 papers and reviews, primarily on ethical theory and practice.
