Sixteen $4,000 community college scholarships awarded

KALAMAZOO -- Sixteen transfer students were named recipients of the Community College President's Scholarship from Western Michigan University.

Each award totals $4,000 over two years. To be eligible, students must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average at their community college. Recipients are selected by the president of their institution.
