MUNCIE, Ind. -- WMU's men's basketball team looks to end a four-game losing streak when they host arch-rival Central Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 12, at University Arena. The Broncos dropped an 80-60 decision at MAC West leader Ball State on Wednesday (Feb. 9).
Starting time for Saturday's match has been shifted to 2 p.m. to accommodate television coverage of the game. Following the men's contest, the Bronco women's basketball team will host Ball State, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
With the loss at Ball State, the Bronco men fall to 8-14 for all games and 4-9 in the Mid-American Conference. WMU has lost four in a row and five of its past six contests, all against conference opponents.
Senior Tony Barksdale led WMU with 17 points at Ball State. Classmate Rod Brown had 10 points, a team-high seven assists, and five rebounds. Freshman Taylor Bro had five points and led the Broncos with nine rebounds.
