Graduate and nontraditional student services fair
Aug. 20, 2000
KALAMAZOO -- Graduate and nontraditional (those over age 25)
students will have the chance to become better acquainted with
the University during an event Wednesday, Aug. 23. The annual
Graduate and Nontraditional Student Services Fair will take place
from 3 to 6 p.m. in the North Ballroom of the Bernhard Center.
As many as 400 students are expected to attend and take advantage
of the opportunity to take care of such business as securing
a student identification card, purchasing a parking sticker and
even having their blood pressure checked. Representatives from
about 40 University offices and departments will be on hand to
meet with students and discuss the services and resources that
are available to assist them.
Free parking, refreshments and on-site child care will be
provided. In addition, door prizes will be awarded, including
three credit hours of in-state graduate tuition and a $150 voucher
for a Division of Continuing Education course.
