GLB faculty/staff group to launch with Sept. meeting

KALAMAZOO -- A gay, lesbian and bisexual faculty/staff group is forming on campus this fall.
The group's purpose is to advocate and discuss issues of importance with the administration and also to provide a forum for support, networking and organizing around GLB issues. The group is open to all current faculty, staff, emeriti and graduate students who are employed by the University.
The first meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in the Bertha Davis Room of Walwood Hall. Those wishing to attend or who want more information, may contact James W. Barton at 387-8760 or <james.barton@wmich.edu> . Those who are unable to attend but would like to be kept apprised of what went on, should e-mail Barton to request the meeting minutes via e-mail.
