
President Floyd testifies in Lansing March 5

KALAMAZOO -- Testimony by Western Michigan University President
Elson S. Floyd at the state capitol in Lansing, Mich., has been
postponed until March 5. President Floyd will make his case for
increased funding for the university to the House Appropriations
Committee's Subcommittee on Higher Education. The president had
been scheduled to testify Feb. 21.
The Monday, March 5, meeting will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.
on the third floor of the Capitol Building. The subcommittee
is headed by Rep. Sandra Caul.
