
Tickets for Miller TV viewing of Bush visit

KALAMAZOO -- Tickets will be available at four locations across
campus late Monday, March 26, for seating in Miller Auditorium
to watch live coverage of President Bush's Tuesday, March 27,
visit to Western Michigan University.
Miller will open for seating at noon Tuesday so that members
of the University community can watch live television coverage
of the Bush visit on a large screen. Bush will be speaking to
a luncheon gathering in the Student Recreation Center. That event
is sponsored by Southwest Michigan First and the Kalamazoo County
Chamber of Commerce. Ticket distribution for the event was handled
by the chamber and tickets are no longer available.
Students, faculty and staff may obtain two tickets to the
Miller viewing by showing their WMU identification cards. The
tickets will be offered without charge at these locations, beginning
late in the afternoon on Monday.
The main entrance to Faunce Student Services, which is open
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
The candy counter at the Bernhard Center, which is open until
8 p.m. Monday and reopens at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The second floor service counter at the Student Recreation
Center, which is open until 10 p.m. Monday and closed on Tuesday.
The ticket office at Miller Auditorium, which is open until
8 p.m. Monday and reopens at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
After 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, any remaining tickets will be returned
to Miller for distribution on a first-come, first-served basis.
