
Education alumni spring dinner is April 17

KALAMAZOO -- A relaxing and informative evening is planned
for Tuesday, April 17, when the Western Michigan University College
of Education Alumni Society holds its annual spring dinner at
the Beacon Club.
Dr. Suzanne Davis, assistant professor of teaching, learning
and leadership, will be guest speaker. Davis will discuss two
critical issues facing today's educators -- promoting diversity
and providing enriched classroom environments.
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a business meeting followed
by a reception at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Coffee, gratuity
and tax are included in the price of the meal.
The cost is $25 per person. The deadline for reservations
is April 10.
The Beacon Club is at 5830 Portage Road in Kalamazoo, just
one mile south of I-94.
