KALAMAZOO -- Student playwrights from Western Michigan University
will debut scenes and one-act plays they've written at 5 p.m.

Students from WMU's Department of Theatre and other area actors

of English, the event is free and open to the public.
The works presented were developed in an advanced playwriting
course taught this semester by Dr. Arnie Johnston, chairperson
of the WMU Department of English. Among the works featured will
be Michael Agrusso's "Metropolis Man," Ingrid Hawkinson's
"The Slam of the Door," Sean Glavin's "Shut Up
and Listen," Bethany Gibson's "Special Delivery"
