Communication students receive broadcast scholarships

KALAMAZOO -- Four Western Michigan University communication students were recently awarded $500 scholarships by the Radio Alliance of Southwest Michigan and Freedom Broadcasting of Michigan Inc. Students pursuing studies in radio and television broadcasting were selected by the WMU Department of Communication for their outstanding academic achievements.

Bryan Farina of Utica, Mich., a senior majoring in broadcast and cable production
David Zibell of Novi, Mich., a senior majoring in telecommunications management

Marcy Ribbits of West Bloomfield, Mich., a senior majoring in broadcast and cable production
