
Graduate and nontraditional student fair is Aug. 22

KALAMAZOO -- Graduate and nontraditional (those over age 25)
students will have the chance to become better acquainted with
Western Michigan University during an event Wednesday, Aug. 22.
The annual Graduate and Nontraditional Student Services Fair
will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. in the North Ballroom of the
Bernhard Center. As many as 400 students are expected to attend
and take advantage of the opportunity to take care of such business
as securing a student identification card, establishing a WMU
computer account and even having their blood pressure checked.
Representatives from about 40 University offices and departments
will be on hand to meet with students and discuss the services
and resources that are available to assist them. Free parking,
refreshments and on-site child care will be provided. In addition,
door prizes will be awarded, including three credit hours of
in-state graduate tuition and a $150 voucher for a Division of
Continuing Education course.
