
WFS shows Sundance Film Festival winner

KALAMAZOO -- As its final selection of 2001, the Western Film
Society presents "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," an adaptation
of the off-Broadway hit about a rock-and-roll drag queen's search
for stardom. "Hedwig" screens at the Little Theatre,
Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and on
Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2:30 and 5 p.m.
"Hedwig" swept the Sundance Film Festival, winning
the Audience Award and the Director's Award and was cited as,
"a gender-bending rock musical that really delivers,"
by the New York Post.
The Little Theatre is on the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver
St. on Western Michigan University's East Campus. General admission
is $5 for adults and $3 for students. There is free off-street
