Women's basketball team hosts tourney game

KALAMAZOO -- Western Michigan University's women's basketball team will host a Mid-American Conference tournament game Saturday, March 2, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in University Arena.
WMU will be seeded either No. 4 or 5 in the conference tournament and will host either the University of Akron or Central Michigan University. Both the Broncos' tournament seeding and first-round opponent will be determined in MAC regular season finales tonight, Feb. 26.
Western Michigan is 11-4 in MAC competition and 15-13 overall going into the final regular season contest tonight at Eastern Michigan (9-6 MAC).
Fans attending Saturday's Bronco men's basketball game, which begins at 2 p.m. in University Arena, can use their ticket from that contest for admission to the women's tournament game at 4:30 p.m.
