Trustees plan brief conference call meeting

KALAMAZOO -- A brief conference call meeting of the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees has been set for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 25, and will emanate from the Connable Board Room of the Bernhard Center.
The conference call meeting, which is open to the public, was scheduled after trustees determined they needed to take routine action on two resolutions before the board's next regularly scheduled meeting, which is set for Sept. 20.
The board's approval on the resolutions is required before the State Building Authority's upcoming meeting. Both agenda items pertain to University building projects funded by the SBA--the new WMU Southwest facility at Lake Michigan College and the new College of Engineering and Applied Sciences building under construction on WMU's Parkview Campus.
