Trustees agree to lease space to printing company

KALAMAZOO -- Acting at their Sept. 20 meeting, Western Michigan University trustees authorized the administration to lease space in the University Plaza to a local printing company.
Trustees gave the nod to a five-year lease at the Howard Street plaza for Megee Printing Inc., which also owns the Copy Desk, located in the Bernhard Center. Effective Sept. 1, the agreement calls for one five-year renewal option, extending the time Megee could occupy the space through 2012, when other tenants' leases will also expire. The monthly rent will be set at $2,000 per month with annual increases of 3 percent.
