Life coaches reveal secrets of attracting abundance

Nov. 2, 2002

KALAMAZOO -- Two life coaches will explore the concept of abundance as it relates to money, relationships and personal fulfillment, as part of a Western Michigan University workshop Thursday, Nov. 7.

Sharon Varricchio and Terri Vought will present "Attracting Abundance" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Federal Room of the Kalamazoo County Chamber of Commerce building, 346 W. Michigan Ave. Part of a monthly series of workshops offered by WMU's Women's Business Development Center, the program is free and open to the public. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Patricia Guenther at (269) 387-2714 or <patricia.guenther@wmich.edu>.

In her their talk, Vought and Varricchio will help participants define abundance, gauge how abundant they are currently, clarify what they really want and learn to attract more abundance. They predict participants will "walk away with a new energy that will attract abundance like a magnet."

Vought, owner of Vought Enterprises, is a professional coach, educator and motivational speaker who trained at the Coaches Training Institute of San Rafael, Calif. She specializes in helping clients stay focused and determine their "life purpose." Varricchio, owner of Lighthouse Coaching Alliance, is a certified professional coach, health professional and wellness specialist. Her mission is to support clients in achieving balance and fulfillment while "completely enjoying the journey." Together, Vought and Varricchio operate V&V Associates, which provides team-building, productivity and communication training, and coaching.

WMU's Haworth College of Business established the Women's Business Development Center in 1999 to offer support to female professionals and entrepreneurs by providing training, problem-solving consultation, current business information and networking opportunities.
