
Kalamazoo kids invited to 'Fall into Art'

KALAMAZOO -- Children from the Greater Kalamazoo community
are invited to "Fall into Art" and spend an fun fall
afternoon with art education majors from Western Michigan University.
Children ages 7 to 13 and their parents are invited to spend
Saturday, Nov. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. expressing themselves artistically
in enjoyable activities with autumn themes. The Community Family
Day program, sponsored by the Department of Art, will be held
in room 1103 of Sangren Hall.
The Community Family Day program is designed to help WMU art
students prepare for teaching careers and to offer opportunities
for the public to visit the University's art department.
There is no charge to participating youngsters, all needed
art supplies will be provided and ample free parking is available
in the parking lot outside the art department entrance on the
north side of Sangren Hall.
Reservations are encouraged but not required. Call Dr. Candice
