Student reception to thank and honor President Floyd

KALAMAZOO -- All Western Michigan University students are invited to a reception to honor and recognize Dr. Elson Floyd as he prepares for his new position at the University of Missouri.
The reception, including a brief program, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the South Ballroom of the Bernhard Center.
The program will include remarks by Western Student Association President John Knowles and music performed by Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Voices of WMU Gospel Choir. Students will have an opportunity to talk with Floyd following the program.
