Collegium Musicum offers free concert TuesdayMarch 19, 2003 KALAMAZOO -- The 25-member Collegium Musicum, Western Michigan University's only early music ensemble, presents a free concert in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 25. The program will feature the Collegium's 17-voice chorus in works by Palestrina and Byrd and its eight instrumentalists in sonatas by Telemann, Quantz, and Fasch. The period instruments used in this program include: Renaissance and Baroque recorders, viola da gambas, one-key Baroque flute, and harpsichord.
