
Women's choruses from four universities to perform

KALAMAZOO -- Women's choruses from four universities will
perform separately and combined in a mass chorus to conclude
the ACDA Michigan Collegiate Women's Chorus Festival. The free
concert, featuting choruses from Grand Valley State University,
Michigan State University, the University of Illinois and Western
Michigan University, is Saturday, April 5, beginning at 7 p.m.
in the Dalton Center Recital Hall.
WMU's School of Music is again serving as host for the American
Choral Directors Association's Michigan Collegiate Women's Chorus
Festival. Participating choirs have the opportunity to work with
clinician Nancy Menk, from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame,
Ind. The April 5 evening concert will include a short program
from each choir as well as a set of four songs performed by the
combined choirs.
