Students sponsor Earth Friendly Food Day

KALAMAZOO -- Students for a Sustainable Earth at Western Michigan University will sponsor "Earth Friendly Food Day" Monday, March 10, beginning at 6 p.m. in rooms 105-106 of the Bernard Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Gretchen Kauth, registered dietician at WMU's Sindecuse Health Center, will discuss the benefits of vegetarian diets. Following Kauth's presentation, an Earth-friendly organic vegetarian meal will be provided. A video titled "Affluenza" will conclude the evening program, which is intended to offer information on a healthier personal diet as well as a healthier diet for the planet.
