Bailey starts with a gift

KALAMAZOO -- Western Michigan University President Judith I. Bailey marked her first days in office by formally signing an employment contract and making her first gift to WMU.
Bailey's gift of $25,000 was made to the Centennial Capital Campaign for WMU: Partnering for Success. That $125 million campaign is scheduled to conclude Dec. 31. Bailey officially began her duties as WMU president on June 9.
