
CAB brings comedian Dane Cook to campus

KALAMAZOO -- The Campus Activity Board at Western Michigan
University presents comedian Dane Cook for one performance during
homecoming week, beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in Miller
Auditorium.
Tickets for the show are available online at <www.millerauditorium.com>
or by calling 269 387-2300 or toll free 800 228-9858. Tickets
are also available at the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office, the
Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo and at the WMU Bookstore in
the Crossroads Mall. Tickets range from $8 to $12, and $5 to
$10 with a WMU Student ID.
Cook's national comedy career has flourished since his move
to Hollywood. He has been featured on the Comedy Central show
"Crank Yankers", as well as his own hour special "Comedy
Central Presents Dane Cook." Cook has had several appearances
on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Late Show with
Craig Kilborn," and "Comics Come Home" which is
hosted annually by Denis Leary.
Cook's amazing comedy career blossomed into an acting career
that has earned him roles in both TV and film. His most recent
roles have been in the Warner Bros. action film "Torque"
which will hit theaters next summer; "The Touch" directed
by Academy Award winner Peter Pau, filmed on location in China
with Michelle Yeoh, coming to theaters early next year; a lead
role in the heist film, "LAX," and an appearance in
the movie "Mystery Men" with Ben Stiller.
