
Ronald H. Denison

Ronald H. Denison, a member of the speech and drama faculty
at Western Michigan University from 1960 to 1964, died Dec. 6,
2003, in Kalamazoo. He was 73.
After leaving WMU, Denison served in several posts, including
academic dean at Olivet College, president of Anoka-Ramsey Community
College in Minnesota and president of Manchester (Conn.) Community
College. He also was on the board of trustees for the Academic
College Testing Program (ACT).
Denison received a bachelor's degree from WMU in 1957 and
earned a master's degree in 1958 and a doctorate in 1961 from
Purdue University.
