
Bischof to lead therapy group

KALAMAZOO--Gary Bischof, an assistant professor of counselor
education and counseling psychology at Western Michigan University,
has been named president-elect of the Michigan Association for
Marriage and Family Therapy.
Bischof's two-year term as president-elect began Jan. 1. After
serving as president-elect, he will begin a two-year term as
MAMFT's president.
MAMFT is a division of the American Association for Marriage
and Family Therapy, the primary professional organization for
the field. Bischof, director of the university's marriage and
family therapy master's program, was elected by Michigan members.
