
Shakespeare scholar visits campus to talk about 'Hamlet'

KALAMAZOO--A renowned Shakespeare scholar and editor will
visit the Western Michigan University campus to make a presentation
on "Hamlet."
Dr. David Bevington, the Phyllis Fay Horton Distinguished
Service Professor in Humanities and a professor of English language
and literature at the University of Chicago, will speak on "Friendship
in 'Hamlet'" at 7 p.m. Monday, March 29. The event, sponsored
by the WMU Department of English Programs Committee, is on the
10th Floor of Sprau Tower and is free and open to the public.
