TIAA-CREF sponsors retirement planning seminar

April 13, 2004

KALAMAZOO--TIAA-CREF will hold a Financial Education Seminar at Western Michigan University from 11 a.m. to noon and again from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, in the Bernhard Center's Brown and Gold Room.

Developing a sound financial strategy for retirement can help ensure future financial security. The seminar can be valuable for those who are just beginning to think about their retirement needs and those who already have a strategy in place. It's always a good idea to review existing strategies periodically in terms of changes in personal circumstances, Social Security benefits and various kinds of investments.

To register for either of the identical one-hour sessions, visit TIAA-CREF on the Web at <www.tiaa-cref.org/moc>, select "Michigan" from the pull-down menu and scroll down the page to Western Michigan University. On the same page, you also may register for individual counseling appointments that will be held April 28, 29 and 30 in 2100 Seibert Administration Bldg.
