KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University and the Kalamazoo community will be on display when a delegation of 11 Russian financial managers visits the campus Monday, Sept. 13, to hear a variety of financial topics covered and to tour the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center.

The group is part of the Productivity Enhancement Program, an international initiative sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in the U.S. Department of State. They will spend three weeks in the United States taking part in tours and activities planned by Rotary groups in Battle Creek, Mich.; Holland, Mich.; and Chicago.

Eight women and three men, along with their interpreter and guide, will visit WMU's Haworth College of Business for a morning of talks, from 9 a.m. to noon. After lunch, the group will travel to WMU's Business Technology and Research Park for a tour of the Innovation Center and a talk with the head of a life science startup firm.

The Battle Creek Rotary is the group's host in this area. For more information, contact Rotary's George Bauer at (269) 660-1429.
