WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Business breakfast features real estate developmentOct. 27, 2004 KALAMAZOO--An authority on local real estate development will be the next guest in the Keystone Community Bank Breakfast Speaker Series at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business. Greg Dobson, vice president for business development at AVB Construction and American Village Development Co., will present "The History and Development Plan for the Trade Center." His talk, in Room 2150 of Schneider Hall, will focus on commercial real estate development, specifically the Trade Center development at Westnedge Avenue and I-94 in Portage. A WMU alumnus, Dobson holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in business from the Haworth College. Parking is available in the Fetzer Center lot. The program is free and open to the public, but those who want to attend should make reservations by calling the college dean's office at (269) 387-5050.
