Woloszyk honored for lifetime achievement

KALAMAZOO--Dr. Carl A. Woloszyk, professor emeritus of family and consumer sciences at Western Michigan University, was honored with a Professional Education Award from the Marketing Education Association, when the group met recently for its annual conference in Virginia Beach, Va.
The award recognizes Woloszyk's lifetime achievement in the field of marketing education. In addition, the state chapter of the association has established a scholarship in Woloszyk's name for high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in the teaching of marketing education.
Woloszyk retired in April after more than 17 years at WMU as an educator and doctoral advisor for students enrolled in career and technical education programs.
