Women's Network continues "Hear Her Story" luncheons

Feb. 9, 2005

KALAMAZOO--The Women's Network at Western Michigan University continues its brown-bag luncheon series, "Hear Her Story," with presentations Feb. 15 and 24. The programs are free and open to the public.

"Hear Her Story" features real women with real careers talking about their personal experiences, which include moving up, moving over and, in some cases, moving on to something new and different. February speakers will share their own stories and allow time for questions afterward.

Tuesday, Feb. 15, speakers are Athletic Director Kathy Beauregard, Dr. Eileen Evans, vice provost for institutional effectiveness, and Dr. Barbara Liggett, associate professor of public administration. The program is noon to 1 p.m. in Room 157 of the Bernhard Center.

Thursday, Feb. 24, speakers are Dr. Carmen Cornieles, instructor in the Department of Educational Studies, and Dr. Dona Icabone, ombuds. The program is noon to 1 p.m. in Room 159 of the Bernhard Center.

Those attending are welcome to bring their own lunch or to purchase a meal in the Bernhard Center cafeteria or at one of the food vendors in the Bronco Mall.

Programs during fall semester featured President Judith I. Bailey and Dr. Linda Delene, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
